| Our trainer consultants are experts at working with owners and their dogs together to make their relationship the best it can be. For the dogs who learn best at home, or when the issue is beyond the scope of the Board and Train, private consultations are an excellent alternative. | |

One of our expert trainers will meet you at your house and set you up with everything you and your pup need to get started on the right paw, addressing all the common puppy issues as well as anything specific to you and your pup. | Your dog will come to stay with us for a two, three or four week intensive “camp," where your dog will learn all he needs to know to fit perfectly into your life. Once your dog’s training is finished, it’s your turn to learn. | Happy Tails Pet Resort is happy to take care of your small animals, such as birds, rabbits, ferrets, hamsters, guinea pigs, etc., but no reptiles. All belongings necessary for the care of the pet must be provided by the owner (food, cage/kennel, bedding/shavings, toys, etc). | |

| Required Canine Vaccinations |
| At least one week prior to your dog's arrival, we must have a formal vaccination record from a licensed veterinarian indicating that your dog is up to date on Rabies, DAPP and Bordetella. Canine Influenza (CIV) is recommended. |
| Required Feline Vaccinations |
| At least one week prior to your cat's arrival, we must have a formal vaccination record from a licensed veterinarian indicating that your cat is up to date on Rabies & FVRCP |
| Food Policy |
| We encourage you to bring the food your pet eats at home to enjoy while they stay with us. Changing a pet’s food can cause stomach irritation and digestive issues, so we prefer to feed them the food they regularly eat. If necessary, our high-quality in-house food can be provided at the owner’s request for $3/day. |
| Medication Policy |
| We can administer oral or topical medications for your pet, but not injections. Prescription medications should be provided in their respective prescription containers, along with clear written directions. Medications must be kept separate from foods. Special Handling Fees may apply for pets that have complex medication instructions. |
| Personal Belongings |
| Bring your pet’s food, treats and medication. We will provide the luxury beds, cozy bedding, bowls and toys. |
